A.)        National Members

National members are non-profit, accredited institutions of higher education located in the United States and Puerto Rico. These fall into the following categories:

Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) - colleges, universities or systems/districts where total Hispanic enrollment constitutes a minimum of 25% of the total enrollment, including full-time and part-time students whether at the undergraduate or graduate level (including professional schools) of the institution, or both (headcount, for-credit students).

Associate Member Institutions - colleges, universities or systems/districts where total Hispanic enrollment constitutes at least 10 percent of the total enrollment, or a minimum of 1,000 Hispanic students are enrolled, including full-time and part-time students whether at the undergraduate or graduate level (including professional schools) of the institution, or both (headcount, for-credit students).

B.)        Partner Institutions

Partner Institutions are located in the United States and Puerto Rico. They are non-profit, accredited colleges, universities or systems/districts that do not have the numbers or percentages of Hispanic students to be HSI or Associate members but are committed to Hispanic student success.
